About
This calculator is meant to aid in finding alternative wheel and tire dimensions for a car. Input one dimension and get a table
with all possible combinations that will give you about the same diameter/circumference.
If you for example have 165/70 R14 on your car and want to exchange them for 16 or 17 inch wheels with low profile tires. This calculator
will then show you alternative wheel/tire combinations that gives about the same diameter/circumference. Wheel widths that doesn't match
the tire widths are not shown so all combinations displayed can be used.
Usage
Fill in the box(es) below with the original wheel and tire specifications and hit "Calculate". This will
produce a table beneath. The table shows different wheel sizes in the Y axis and different tire
profiles in the X axis. In each row in each cell you will find the tire width and its
approperiate wheel width range for the tire that has about the same diameter as the original wheel.
In dark purple you find the diameters that are within 2% of the original, in light purple
within 5% and in background color within 8%. Too weird tire dimensions aren't shown.
